I’ve currently got an obsession with strawberries. I’m pretty sure the baby is going to come out bright pink! Therefore having gone completely over the top & ordered punnets of the things, I thought that I’d try some different options for smoothies…. which also lent itself nicely to finally using one of our wedding gifts!
Packed with anti-oxidants and chia seeds, which are renowned for their health benefits, you can indulge guilt-free and it tastes DELISH!
- 1 x cup of frozen berries
- 1/2 x cup of fresh strawberries
- 1 x cup of unsweetened almond milk
- 1 x tbsp raw honey
- 1 x tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 x lemon (juice)
Add all of the ingredients (with the exception of the chia seeds) into a blender and mix until smooth. You can always choose to switch out the almond milk for apple juice if you prefer. When everything is blended, add your chia seeds and stir with a spoon. Serve in a chilled glass.
