My postman delivers bills. Bills and takeaway leaflets. Sometimes a Hermés brochure to taunt me. My postman clearly has a vendetta against me, he hates me.
I decided to take action against this when I discovered My Little Box (thanks to Lemonaid Lies). My little heart skipped a pretty little beat as I flicked through the pages of their website, oggling the hand-crafted boxes. I had to have this in my life. I needed to overcome my fear of the postman. Logical. Totally logical.
My oh my, they didn’t disappoint. My box arrived this week and is just beautiful. The boxes follow a different theme each month and this month’s theme was Paris. Yes Paris… as in the best city in the world, ever.
Opening the illustrated box, I couldn’t wait to see what was inside. Even Hugo was intrigued.
Inside of the box were a mixture of random treats, from a gorgeous Neoprene laptop cover, a Laura Mercier Foundation Primer (mine was about to run out – I think they have cameras in my cottage), Nuxe Skin Oil, their own brand concealer (I have bags, they clearly noticed), a notepad with their story at the front and the cutest Parisian stickers which are now attached to my laptop allowing me to take a little piece of Paris with me, everywhere that I go.
I’m going to be sharing my box each month, but my advice to you my friend, would be to order one for yourself. Say no to the bills. Say yes to pretty. You know it makes sense.
