This week has been a bit like Christmas has come early… we’ve been kindly sent a bundle of goodies for the little monkey’s arrival. I think the reality that it’s not long now is really sinking in. We’ve received some gorgeous stuff and so I wanted to share with you some of my faves!
Frugi have been on my radar for some time now, with gorgeous vibrant prints and thick, soft materials that you’re guaranteed to love. I already had a few of their pieces, but when the team kindly got in touch, I couldn’t wait to check out their new range. They kindly sent me one of the breastfeeding dresses which has a beautiful summer nautical feel about it… there will be a review to follow, I’m just waiting for the pouring rain to stop. If that could happen sooner rather than later, that would be awesome.
However, I couldn’t help but totally fall in love with the Lovely Babygrow Pack in that they sent to me in their Summer Buzzy Bee print. It’s got a real retro feel about it and is fully poppered for easy changing. What’s more, it’s got built-in fold back scratch mitts & cosy feet making it perfect as a going home outfit! 🙂
I hadn’t discovered Magnet Mouse until now and I can’t work out how! Ingenious little rompers featuring magnetic fastenings and available in some adorable vintage-inspired designs, I already know that they’re going to become a go-to for me. Everyone knows that babies wriggle, heck there’s a whole session devoted on how to dress a baby in NCT for goodness sake. However, these rompers make it super easy & quick meaning that you can do it with just one hand!
Piupia was created by a mum who grew up in a Portugese town famous for textile manufacturing. After moving to London and working as a Graphic Designer for a number of years, Claudia decided to start her babywear line after having her very own little person a few years ago.
Each of the teenie pieces of clothing are designed to be super comfy on delicate skin but are also made to be kinder to the environment. Every piece has traditional charm with a modern twist and a focus on embellishments and detail.
Belle & Boo is a British lifestyle brand known for original, nostalgic ‘story book’ illustrations of children. The collection includes gift items, books, framed artworks, stationery, home wares and a beautiful collection of girls’ clothing.
The thing that most recently grabbed my attention though were the removable fabric wall stickers. Perfect for instantly transforming any nursery, they’re super-easy to apply and the thing that I love most (currently living in rented accommodation) is that they aren’t permanent. When the time comes, just peel them off and your walls are as good as new.
Living in a very “English” cottage, I love their vintage inspired designs. So beautiful!
There are so many gorgeous little indie brands available now for Mini-Humans, it’s easy to spend hours scrolling websites. As I continue to find cute stuff, I’ll continue to share it here. What are your faves?
