White Cotton Peonies

Those of you who know me will know that I lived in Windsor for a number of years a while back. I’ve never lived in a place like it, where I knew that I belonged immediately, I knew that I’d come home.

After a number of years and taking a job in London, the commute started to take its toll and so I moved into town. I had fun times there and I’d never take it back, but at my core, I’m a country bumpkin. I love pulling on my Hunters and going for a walk come the weekend or heading to Guards Polo on a Sunday.

My favourite thing to do on a Saturday is to make no plans. To head into town, check out the local farmer’s market, grab a coffee from the local organic store, snoop around the shops, spend hours in the local book shop. Before you know it, the whole day has gone.

It’s easy to take these things for granted, so I thought that I’d snap a couple of my favourite places around Windsor. You’ll see more posts coming up which are more detailed about my favourite places and things to do, but this gives you a snap shot. Home really is where the heart is and my heart is well and truly in Windsor. It’s good to be back.

    Hi Mel,

Where’s the place in the 5th photo, looks like the sort of eclectic shop my g/f would love to rummage through…

    Hope you’re well.

    Thanks

    Hi Paul,

That’s Vinegar Hill (used to be Cocoa Bean) on St. Leonards Road in Windsor. I love it there!

    M :)
