White Cotton Peonies

Last week, I had the privilege of attending a social function at Windsor Castle to celebrate Guards Polo’s 60th anniversary. As the Duke of Edinburgh is the Patron for the club, he kindly invited members to a gathering in the State Apartments for champagne and canapés. How jolly lovely.

Nicholas Oakwell Couture generously lent me one of the dresses from their latest collection which I teamed with some gorgeous white strappy sandles from Gina.

I adored the dress and it certainly acted as a conversation starter! The fluorescent flowers keep a traditional design young and fresh. I teamed it with simple diamond studs and a high ponytail.

The event was stunning and filled with lots of interesting people. The Duke, as anticipated was on form and made the event memorable. I just hope that I’m as funny at the age of 92!

Here’s to the next 60 years… and to many many more parties. Of course!
